The Rovere / Sessile oak flooring in the EKOLINE collection is made in three different formats, three-layered single plank, double-layered mini plank in the widths 120 and 140 mm. The only possible surface treatment is wire brushing while two finishes are available: varnishing and biocompatible oil, both finished with a naturalising wood preservative. There are thirty colour variants, ten for each finish.

Formats

MINI PLANK 120

  • Total thickness: mm 10
  • Width: mm 120
  • Length: mm 500/900
  • Type of fitting: glued

The mini plank is made up of two layers glued together, the first of which, i.e. the visible layer, is a sheet of Sessile oak with a thickness of 4.00 mm, while the second is in solid Spruce. This is the latest addition to the range and allows larger sizes to be used both lengthwise and width-wise, even in areas in which thinner planks are required.

MINI PLANK 140

  • Total thickness: mm 10
  • Width: mm 140
  • Length: mm 900/1200
  • Type of fitting: glued

The mini plank is made up of two layers glued together, the first of which, i.e. the visible layer, is a sheet of Sessile oak with a thickness of 4.00 mm, while the second is in solid Spruce. This is the latest addition to the range and allows larger sizes to be used both lengthwise and width-wise, even in areas in which thinner planks are required.

TRIPLE-LAYER SINGLE PLANKS

  • Total thickness: mm 15
  • Width: mm 190
  • Length: mm 900/2000
  • Type of fitting: glued/floating/nailed

The single plank is made up of three layers glued together, of which the first, i.e. the visible layer, is a sheet in Sessile oak with a thickness of 4.00 mm, the middle layer is made up of softer woods placed at a right angle and the final under layer in Larch.
The particularity of the three-layered plank lies in the possibility to be glued directly to the existing sub-flooring, or as a floating parquet. In the latter case, a sub-layer (usually with a thickness of 2-3 mm) is inserted between the screed and the parquet itself. This allows the slats to be simply placed on the sub-layer, which means only the joints are glued.
