The oil finish leaves the surface treated very "natural" to the eye and touch, and hardly alters the original breathability of the wood. It is extremely long-lasting and can, if necessary, be easily re-applied. It is even possible to re-apply it in only certain areas. This characteristic also makes it suitable for areas subject to wear and tear. After installation and extraordinary maintenance, the finish is obtained with a special protective product (A-Lungo). In addition to ensuring long-lasting effectiveness of the treatment, with each application it renews the surface, giving its original sheen. We have only ever used biocompatible oil.

The wood is varnished using sophisticated, cutting edge application systems: for certain types of wood and shades we carry out a full water-based cycle. In other cases, varnishing involves a water-PU mixed application system.

The final appearance of a waxed finish is unique and cannot be matched. Ideal for giving a final touch to all flooring with a classic, antique look, wax finishing is made using the old encaustic system. The wax is heated until it liquifies and is then applied and polished entirely by hand. The combination with an oil finish and naturalising treatment, applied beforehand, makes it more resistant over time. The treatment is maintained by re-applying a layer of the same wax at least once a year.
